Due to our continued growth, the Dakota MAC division of First Dakota National Bank is seeking a full-time Servicing & Special Projects Officer to join our Yankton team. The DMAC Servicing & Special Projects Officer serves the bank’s customer relationships by providing support to Officers and external customers. This position will serve as the main point of contact for all servicing requests and special projects within Dakota MAC. Hours include Monday-Friday 8-5.
Duties
Servicing Requests
- Enter and track requests in the DMAC Database
- Review and submit requests to the Secondary Market
- Complete searches Real Estate and UCC
- Order and review Title Insurance and Appraisals
- Verify or assist in documenting information for loan documents
- Request and review necessary entity documents
- Scan documents as necessary
- Record and file documents as needed
- Assist with Third Party requirements
- Assist with Preferred Lender (PLP) Review
- Assist with the calculation of Mortgage Servicing Rights (OMSR)
- Plan, facilitate, and offer training to our internal and external customers
- Maintain and enhance customer relations
- Assist the Dakota MAC Manager and Business Development Manager with expansion opportunities

Basic knowledge of loan administration and loan products, common record keeping systems, loan origination systems, Microsoft Office products, credit practices, credit administration, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in two or more of the following areas: financially related customer service, loan processing, loan servicing, loan document review or loan closing

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, marketing or related field; and
Minimum of one year of relevant experience
Knowledge of agricultural industry is desired (personal, professional, or educational)
