Human Resources & Education Assistant

We are hiring a full-time Human Resources & Education Assistant to join our Yankton team. Provide support to both the Human Resources and Education teams by assisting with recruitment activities, coordinating education programs, and helping with a variety of daily tasks to ensure smooth department operations. Hours include Monday-Friday 8-5. 
 
Duties
  • Post job openings utilizing the applicant tracking system and other external sources
  • Assist supervisors with the recruiting process by conducting phone screens on candidates, scheduling interviews and completing reference checks
  • Update job descriptions as needed
  • Maintain the service award program including creating certificates and assisting with milestone anniversary planning
  • Approve and track employee career apparel reimbursements
  • Process notary renewals and new notary requests
  • Send Integrity assessments and pull team reports
  • Review and update HR and Education pages of our intranet
  • Coordinate training activities such as scheduling, room setup, ordering meals, and prepping materials
  • Update and send surveys
  • Data entry for various HR and Education programs
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications
Attributes include a positive attitude and good work ethic. The ability to process a variety of tasks accurately and efficiently, the capability to maintain strict confidentiality, attention to detail and comply with all Bank policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with various types of clientele, co-workers and departments to resolve an assortment of needs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Punctuality is a must.

Education/Experience
High School Diploma or GED, and 
1 year of Customer Service or Administrative Experience
 
Work Environment
Office: The work environment of this job includes interacting with others in an office setting, and the noise level is usually moderate. 
 
Physical Demands
Light: The physical demands of this job include bending, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
