Mailroom Specialist (part-time)
First Dakota National Bank is hiring a part-time Mailroom Specialist to join our Yankton team. Hours include Monday-Friday 1:00-4:00pm, typically working 15 hours/week. A knowledge of First Dakota mail room procedures along with strong organizational skills, a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment is essential. Respond to internal inquiries and provide support for Deposit Services related tasks.
Duties
- Possess knowledge of the mailroom processes involving incoming and outgoing mail for the bank, which includes but is not limited to sorting incoming mail, running the inserter/folding and postage machine, sorting all outgoing mail and applying postage as applicable, prepare mail pieces for distribution to branches, and printing and preparation of notices and statements
- Responsible for assisting with mailroom equipment maintenance and servicing needs; coordinating with third party servicing personnel to keep equipment functioning at top performance levels
- Possess a working knowledge of the 4Sight Launchpad, Silverlake, and postal service websites
- Research and resolve mail room problems, acting as a liaison between other bank departments when necessary
- Ensure customer confidentiality
- Adhere to established Bank policies and procedures for consumer complaints
- Inform management of irregular or recurring mail room problems and suggest improvements to provide improved customer service
- Attend and come prepared to all meetings and developmental training deemed necessary by your supervisor
- Participate in required annual training
- Other duties as assigned, supporting the Deposit Services Operations team
