Missouri National Recreational River
This is a 6-month Seasonal National Park Service Position based in Yankton, SD. This heavily field-based "River" Park Ranger position will be focused on Missouri National Recreational River operations and river visitor use. Position is expected to be on the river, on a daily basis to report on visitor use of the river and to support field-based park operations. Work conditions will consist of remote river locations and remote islands on the Missouri River. Position will work with all divisions at the park. The position will transport people and materials to work sites along the Missouri River. Position will have a high degree of boat, canoe and kayak operations. The position will interact with park visitors on the river, along with coordinating with local Emergency Response local organizations.
Anticipated Start Date: April 5, 2026
Pay: $19.33 per hour
