The NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center (NEYAC) is a premier archery facility dedicated to promoting the sport of archery through world-class events, training opportunities, and community programming. As a key destination for archers of all ages and skill levels, NEYAC serves as a hub for national tournaments, local leagues, youth development, and outdoor recreation in Yankton, South Dakota. The Grounds and Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center (NEYAC) maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role oversees daily facility operations, grounds upkeep, equipment management, and supports the successful setup and execution of archery events, tournaments, and programs. Essential Functions 1. Oversee and manage maintenance for all facility events, ensuring each area is clean, functional, and ready for use. Address onsite needs including inventory, supplies, equipment, and venue issues. 2. Manage the maintenance of NEYAC’s indoor and outdoor facilities and grounds. 3. Organize and oversee equipment inventory for onsite and offsite events, including cleaning and maintenance of all event equipment. 4. Coordinate transportation, loading, and unloading of equipment for offsite events. 5. Direct onsite event setup and teardown, including timelines, staff and volunteer assignments, and task verification. 6. Provide innovative solutions and process improvements to enhance facility operations and event management. 7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Center Director. Qualifications · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. · Basic computer skills, including proficiency with email and Microsoft Office. · Ability to collaborate with staff, coaches, and volunteers. · Creative problem-solver and innovative thinker. · High ethical standards, integrity, and transparency in decision-making. · Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends during events. · Hands-on experience with maintenance equipment: mowers, tractors, lawn and garden power tools, chainsaws, floor cleaners, ATVs, golf carts, and vehicles. · Skilled with hand tools for general repairs and maintenance, both indoors and outdoors.
