Description
The Benedictine Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery in Yankton invite the public to an open house on Sunday, December 3 from 12:30-4:30 p.m. in the Chapter Room. The sisters will be displaying a collection of crèche (nativity sets) collected over the years…some handmade, some found during their travels, and all precious and revered. In 2004, the sisters displayed 138 Nativity Sets representing 31 countries to over 400 guests. The display is being organized by the Mission Committee of Sacred Heart Monastery. There is no cost to view the public display. The Monastery is located at 1005 W 8th Street, behind Sacred Heart Hospital. Guests are asked to enter through the doors directly south of Bishop Marty Chapel. For more information call 605-668-6000.
