ABOUT SHITHOOK:
When Shithook the band was formed in the late 20th century, the three bandmates Dave, Dave and Phil had already been playing together for over 10 years. Their previous aggregation had run it's course and they began rehearsing material for a new band. After a failed attempt at releasing an album of their own songs, the band took the easy way out and began playing covers in dive bars, rec centers and people's backyards all over eastern Nebraska. Eventually, a frustrated bar manager suggested the band should latch onto the karaoke craze that was sweeping the nation and thus, “Live Band Karaoke” became a reality, where the band had only to play the music while members of the audience provided the singing parts. This genius idea soon became a popular attraction throughout several counties and the band was finally able to enjoy the sweet success they had always dreamed of.
