4:00 - 5:00 p.m. | PINECONE BIRD FEEDERS AND BIRD SCAVENGER HUNT - Join the naturalists to learn some fun facts about Birds by completing a scavenger hunt and then make a homemade bird feeder of your own to take home. Meet at Chief White Crane Amphitheater.
7:00 - 8:30 p.m. | DOG DAYS - Bring your family friendly dogs to the shelter for some activities just for the dogs. Your pet will be able to paint a picture and go through a dog obstacle course.
You will also be able to make a dog treat and a dog toy to share with your pet. Meet at Gavin's Shelter #2
9:00 -9:30 p.m. | NATURE MOVIE Join the naturalists for a movie under the stars. Meet at Lewis and Clark Amphitheatre
Saturday, August 8th
9:00 - 11:00 a.m. | FISHING - Join the naturalists and the National Park Service for a fishing clinic on the North Shore of Lake Yankton.
Poles and bait are provided. Meet At Chief White Crane.
9, 10, & 11:00 a.m. | ARCHERY for ages 8 and up, pre-registration is required. Please call 605-668-2985 or sign up at the Lewis and Clark Welcome Center. Meet at Gavin's Archery Range.
2:00-3:00 p.m. | FISH CRAFT AND FISH SCAVENGER HUNT
Create a fish craft and test your knowledge of fish with a Fish scavenger hunt. Meet at Lewis and Clark Amphitheater
5:00-6:30 p.m. | TIE DYE - Bring a white or light-colored cotton item to tie dye. Learn about different techniques and choose your colors to create a new shirt of your own. Meet at Chief White Crane
