Description
Feed Your Mind at the Mead Museum Spanning a century! The Meridian Highway Bridge opened to the public on Sunday, October 12, 1924, and has been an iconic Yankton area landmark ever since. Join the Yankton Centennial Celebration in 2024 as the City of Yankton and surrounding area residents celebrate the bridge’s first 100 years. This is the first educational event of the centennial and will be presented by Kathy Grow, one of the authors of the book, “The Bridge We Built: The Story of Yankton’s Meridian Bridge.” Food and drink will be provided.
