DESCRIPTION:Calling all artists whether you are Vincent Van Gogh or Vincent Van No\, the Yankton Community Library wants to showcase your art in our all-ages August Art Show!\n\nThe art show will feature two categories\, Visual and Material Art. Visual Art is any two-dimensional art such as painting\, sketches\, photography\, and prints. Material Art\, or three-dimensional art\, includes clay\, paper m ch \, carving\, casting\, and sewing.\n\nSubmissions will be accepted from Friday\, August 1 to Friday\, August 8 during regular business hours. Participants may submit one piece of art in each category. All art must be suitable for viewers of all ages.\n\n \n\nSwing by the Yankton Community Library Meeting Room August 11 through 15 to view the submissions and vote for your favorites!\n\nOn Friday\, August 15\, artists and art enthusiasts are welcome to attend the Closing Reception from 1-3:30 pm. Stop in to see the art\, chat with artists\, and enjoy light refreshments.
